Heuristics: Experimental strategies that allow a person to solve a problem quickly and easily; mental shortcuts (do not always provide correct answers, but are learned through experience). Overcoming Obstacles to Problem Solving:
All problem solving requires creativity(the capacity to use info and/or abilities in new and original ways). Creativity requires flexibility and recombination of elements to achieve insight.
